Alice is our beautiful 2 year-old Cane Corso cross.

When Alice first came to us she was a nervous girl and a bit weary of the world around her, but she has come such a long way since being in our care and is now showing us her playful side all of the time!

Alice loves to run around and get the zoomies, she still has that puppy nature about her and is all paws. She is a big foodie unless there are people around, then she may be more interested in them as she loves nothing more than having lots of fuss and giving kisses!

Alice has gotten used to the big world and isn’t as fazed by scary things anymore, she has learnt to take everything in her stride and is a very brave girl. She loves off-site walks and has spent time with all our staff and volunteers who adore her.

This lovely lady enjoys her walks and will walk nicely on the lead when she is calm, however if she sees people she will pull and is eager to go over and say hello but can become unsure especially if they are new to her. She can be quite reluctant to go up to people she is unsure/unfamiliar of and can get quite nervous around them.

Alice does have a high prey drive and gets quite frustrated when she sees other dogs. We have been working on this with her and slowly starting to reduce the distance between her and other dogs without her getting vocal- she is doing really well!

Alice will need a home where her family are able to continue to work with her on reactivity towards dogs by keeping her attention on them and rewarding this behaviour. She doesn't know basic commands yet like sit or down, but with some yummy food and time, she would learn lots of commands with ease.
