PROFILE
Milo is our Amazing 2-year-old Shepherd cross.
Milo hasn't had the best of luck in his first couple of years of life. His previous family abandoned him and refused to claim ownership. So, us at the centre took him in and have made it our goal to help him learn that being left alone isn't always a bad thing. Milo unsurprisingly struggles with being left alone, even when he is with you, he just wants to be as close to you as possible and sometimes that may mean trying to be a lap dog, A big cuddly lap dog.
Milo is such a friendly playful goofball; he loves rolling around in the grass with his squeaky ball showing off how much fun he can have. He loves his toys and showing them off and going on walks with his teddies.
This big lad walks quite well on lead but at times when he wants, he can pull, but he is doing well with his loose lead work and focusing on his handler, but this is something that owners should continue with after adoption. Milo can focus on other dogs and want to greet them, he does prefer to share his time with the ladies over the boys, but he is getting better and better at meeting other dogs and once he has met them, he is a very polite boy who at time just doesn’t understand his size.
Milo is doing very well with his commands and will very enthusiastically give paw and lay down, especially if a treat is involved.
Milo is simply a big cuddle bug who is looking for a family who are home most of the time to help him learn to be alone and who don’t mind their hot water bottle being a big shepherd.
Milo is looking for an adult only home.
