PROFILE

Flo is our ever so sweet 2-year-old black Domestic Shorthair girl.

We don't have a lot of history on Flo's background, but we do know that moving forward, she is more than ready to find that forever home to call her own.

Flo can be a shy girly at times, or upon first meeting her.. but this affectionate little madam will soon show you how many head scratches she's truly up for.

When Flo first arrived, she found her hidey spaces to be of comfort to her during her settling in time. It took no time really for her confidence to start blossoming, Flo would love some hidey spaces in her new home whilst she finds her feet in her new environment.

A great way to bond with Flo, is through grooming sessions. She pushes her head into the brush and shows you her loudest purrs.

In our care, Flo spends most of her time in her outside basket, watching the world go by or snoozing the afternoon away. Now, when we approach her pod, Flo gets up to greet us with her little meows and head bumps.

Although she loves her affection, Flo isn't a fan of being picked up or any invasive handling. It will be a matter of working with Flo at a pace she is comfortable with in regards to stokes and fuss, as it may take her confidence a little minute to catch up with her.

Flo can use her cat flap and is fully litter trained too.

Due to her occasional shyness, Flo can be rehomed with children of secondary school age, 11+.

There are to be no dogs in the home, she may be able to live with small furries or exotics dependent on accommodation location and security in the home.

Flo has not been fully cat tested, however she has been quite nervous whilst walking around the cattery corridor and hissing at other cats whilst in their pods. So at this stage, we feel Flo would be best suited to a home where she is the only cat.

If you think you can provide this wonderful and loving girl with the forever home she so rightfully deserves, then please email info@rspca-preston.org.uk to request an application form.
