Black and White
**FOSTER TO ADOPT**
Alistair is our sweet and playful 2-year-old Black and White Domestic Shorthair boy.
This sweet boy has a very affectionate side, he’s content with being picked up enjoying a cuddle along the way and hasn’t had any issues with handling or restraining whilst in the care of our cattery.
Alistair is very confident when it comes to meeting new people and exploring new places. He loves to sniff all of the scents around the cattery and he enjoys watching ethe world go by from the comfort of his pod.
Alistair is very relaxed when he is in his pod, when he sees someone go past, he will roll over on his back in an attempt to get us to come and give him a cuddle, and how can you say no that that!!
Alistair hasn't shown any interest in being groomed despite how much he loves a good fuss. He will tolerate being brushed but he doesn't particularly enjoy it.
He doesn't tend to play with toys in his pod by himself, but he does love to run around the cattery and will happily play with toys if you join in with him.
Alistair knows how to use the cat flap and he is litter trained in his time spent in catteries. However, when previously in a foster home for a brief time he did have a few accidents. Alistair will be foster to adopt due to these issues so we can allow him time to settle in a home whilst having more support from our Branch.
For Alistair to settle in as best as possible, and get the hang of his litter training in the home environment, he is looking for a quieter and adult only home. Ideally, Alistair would benefit from having a room to call his own initially, and then slow introductions to the rest of the house over time. Adopters will need to understand he will require time to settle in and feel comfortable with these new surroundings.
Alistair has shown an interest in other cats however has shown he is a little unsure overall. Because of this, Alistair will benefit from being the only cat in the household as he settles into home life. There are also to be no dogs in the home.
If you are interested in giving this lovely boy the forever home he so rightfully deserves, then please email email@example.com to request an application from.

I would prefer not to live with a dog
I'd prefer an adult only household
I'd prefer to be the only cat in a home
I'm a shy guy; I'll need time to settle
