Nox is our beautiful but timid 4 year old Domestic Short Hair girl.
Nox hasn't been with us long at the centre. She is taking time to settle into the cattery due to being on the timid side. She is currently looking for a quieter home, who can allow her time to settle in and let her grow in confidence at a pace she is comfortable with.
Nox has taken a real liking to her hidey bed, she will benefit massively from having plenty of hidey spaces in her new home- she spends most of her time in her hidey bed but seems to come out and explore a little more at night or in quieter times.
Its important Nox has spaces she can take herself off to when she's feeling overwhelmed, this will allow her to do things in her own time. She will need you to work with her at a pace she is comfortable with.
Nox is showing improvement everyday with people approaching and coming into her pod, but she benefits from slow and steady interactions and familiar faces too. With consistency in the home, she can start to come out of her shell slowly but slowly as her confidence grows.
Nox has shown positive reactions to fuss and strokes, she may become more comfortable with these interactions when settled into her forever home
Nox hasn't shown any interest in playing with toys but this could all change in time.
She can use litter trays, she hasn't yet used her cat flap but this is something she may need guidance with should one be present in the home.
Nox is looking for a home where she is the only animal, and any cat savvy children are to be of secondary school age.
She may be able to be rehomed with other small animals, dependent on their accommodation security and location in the home.
If you think you can be the perfect match for Sweet Nox then please email email@example.com to request an application form.
