PROFILE

Medusa is a very nervous cat, who is seeking a home where she can be given the time to come out of her shell at her own pace. Once she's gained her confidence, she is more than happy to take lots of Dreamies and is beginning to love having a fuss.

She finds her confidence to explore at her own pace. New owners should be prepared that Medusa will most likely hide for the first few weeks in her new home. She does not generally play with toys, and is happy to keep herself busy snoozing the day away or enjoying her biscuits in enrichment.

Medusa has now begun to be more vocal, and will make lots of tiny meows as you come in her pod. It may be that when she gets comfortable in her home, that she may be a chatty little lady.

You are able to brush/groom Medusa, however at the moment she does just tolerate this. This will be something new owners will need to take slowly with her, and help her build her confidence in time.

Medusa is not a cat who is happy to be carried, and is still building her confidence with being picked up and overly handled. Medusa will scratch and bite if she is very stressed, so new owners will need to be nice and calm with her, and allow her to make her own decisions.

When first coming into the cattery, Medusa was so stressed by any interactions with people. However, after being given time and Dreamies, she has come so far and is showing that she does really want to be with people. She just needs to do it at her own pace.

Medusa has previously lived with cats, however, due to her incredibly nervous nature, we will be seeking a home for her as an only pet. She will be seeking an adult only home.
