Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Rocky came to the centre because unfortunately his owner had been made homeless and he wanted more for Rocky than a life on the streets. Rocky soon caught the hearts of everyone at the centre, as he is a well mannered gentleman. Although a slightly older pooch, he is still full on life who loves going for walks and playing with his toys. However, what Rocky loves more than going for walks is having lots of fuss and attention. Rocky would love to find a home where there was someone at home a lot, so that he can get the attention he craves. Rocky is often happy to make friends with other dogs however, he isn't over keen on dogs that are bigger than himself, or dogs that are off lead, so care must be taken when walking him. Rocky really does deserve to find a loving home to spend his retirement in, he really is a lovely dog.
I walk nicely on a lead
I can be left for short periods
I'd prefer not to live with a cat
I love playing with toys
I could live with children primary school aged
I'd prefer to be the only dog in a home
I'm young at heart
The centre is open from 11.30-3.30pm everyday except Tuesdays when we are closed to the public.
