Staffordshire Bull Terrier
9 Years Old
Brindle and White
Lexi came to the centre because her owner could no longer afford to look after her. She had recently had puppies and it was clear that she was looking forward to a retirement. Lexi is an amazing and affectionate little lady and has become a firm favourite with everyone here. Unfortunately Lexi has been with us for a little while because when she arrived we discovered that she had several mammary lumps, the poor girl needed several operations but has now been given the all clear. She is very laid back and not at all interested in toys (although she will run after them then run back without the toy very pleased with herself), all she wants is cuddles and human attention. She gets on well with lots of other dogs and has lived with dogs before but no cats. Although we think she would be fine with children we are looking for a quiet home for Lexi where she can snuggle up in front of the fire with her new owner and gets lots of love. If you think your life is missing a loving, affectionate dog please come and meet her, she is truly amazing and will steal your heart.
The centre is open from 11.30-3.30pm everyday except Tuesdays when we are closed to the public.
