RSPCA Preston

RSPCA Preston & District Branch animal centre is temporarily closed to the public and is not taking in or rehoming any animals at the moment. We have no set date as of yet but the Trustees and staff, supported by national society staff, are busy working behind the scenes towards reopening the centre in the near future.

Our Branch charity shops support the RSPCA Preston and District Branch animal welfare work and we rely on the generosity of our local communities. By donating second hand goods or new items, and shopping at our RSPCA charity shops in Longridge and Chorley, you may not only be able to pick up some great bargains but you will be helping animals in your local area.

What we do

Our mission is to provide safe homes to abandoned, neglected or abused animals, to nurse them back to health, rehabilitate them, and find them their forever home.

Running costs

The RSPCA Preston & District Branch is a self funding independent charity. Its costs us an average in excess of £25,000 per month to run. We rely heavily on public donations and the generosity of the community to keep our doors open.
